What is BGS’s Speaker Dinner Series?
On the surface, it’s exactly what it says: A chance to have a bite with an interesting and compelling expert. But if you dig a bit deeper, you’ll find that these intimate events are much more. First, you’re not just sitting there listening to a lecture – you’re sharing, conversing and interacting with an Honored Guest. Our Speakers understand this and are volunteering to follow you wherever the discussion goes. Second, you get a real chance to connect with fellow BGS members. This isn’t some superficial speed networking where you collect business cards, and then those cards collect dust. Make a real connection and see where it takes you!
How it works:
Attendees will generally be on a first-come-first-served basis, so respond ASAP. BGS will not be charging a fee, but attendees will cover their own food and beverages costs as well as equally split the food and beverage tab for our honored guest.
As space is extremely limited, please register ASAP when you receive the e-mail announcements. Thank you and we look forward to an engaging and intimate event!
Beta Gamma Sigma of Chicago values your input for special events and activities for our chapter. Last year, we listened to your feedback and added new events including business speakers with longevity in the industry of accounting, marketing, and economics. Also added was a resume/career training session.
Perhaps you have a comment, suggestion or a testimonial that you would like to share. If you provide us with a 10-30 word testimonial to firstname.lastname@example.org, you will be entered drawing to win prizes.
Beta Gamma Sigma of Chicago
We would like to highlight our recently established “Beta Gamma Sigma – Chicagoland” group on LinkedIn.com. As of today, we have 500 members and the number continues to grow steadily! If you aren’ t familiar, LinkedIn is similar to the social networking sites Myspace & Facebook, only it’s focused primarily on professional networking. I’d like to specifically highlight the discussion forum on our group page and encourage everyone to utilize the BGS LinkedIn audience. It’s a great open medium for questions, announcements, or opinions!
